Will it really be my pet’s paw print on my piece of jewellery?
Absolutely! Each and every piece we craft is made from a paw print sent in by the customer and just like a fingerprint, every paw print is different.
Do you print pet's noses?
No we don't. We tried it once on our cat and he was very scared and I felt very bad. I then tried it on myself and it was uncomfortable, even though I knew what I was doing. I wouldn't wish to do to my pet what I am not comfortable doing to myself. What's more there is a danger that small pieces of the putty could get caught in your pet's nasal hairs and inhaled.
So who will take my pet’s print?
You will. Nobody knows their pet as well as it’s owner and we want them to feel comfortable while having their print taken.
How do I take my pet’s print?
We will send you one of our Magic Inkless Pet Print Kits to take the print. It’s clean, safe and really easy to use. The kit itself contains clear, simple instructions.
What do I do with my print once it is taken?
You can either return your print to us in the envelope provided, OR you can scan in your print and email it to us.
I have two dogs, can one print go on each cufflink?
Yes they can.
Are the paw prints sterling silver?

How long does it take?
Our turn around time is usually four weeks from receipt of the prints. We take time to make sure your pieces are finished to perfection. However, if you have special birthday or anniversary and you've left it a bit late, let us know and we will see if we can finish your piece in time
What causes silver to tarnish?
All silver does tarnish naturally. There are many things that can cause silver to tarnish, but the most common causes are wool, food (eggs, onions, mayonnaise), rubber bands, latex gloves and certain paints. Oily salts from fingers can also tarnish silver. Silver will tarnish much more quickly in humid environments.
How can I slow down the rate of tarnishing?
Silver should be kept dry. Remove all silver jewellery before showering or cleaning. Soap can cause a film to form on silver jewellery, making it appear dull. A soft cloth is an effective and inexpensive way to keep your silver pieces lustrous and shining. Be particularly careful of chlorine. Chlorine, especially at high temperatures, can permanently damage or discolor your silver jewellery. Avoid wearing silver jewellery while using chlorine bleach or while in a pool or hot tub.
How do I look after my jewellery?
You can remove light tarnish by using a gentle washing up liquid and warm water. Carefully brush with a soft bristle brush, such as an old toothbrush. After brushing, simply rinse with lukewarm water and allow to dry. Frequent light cleanings are preferable to waiting until the tarnish gets so stubborn that more abrasive polishes have to be employed.
If your paw print item tarnishes more, you can polish it with silver polish or a silver cloth. It should come up shiny as new. Chains can be soaked in a silver dip (following the manufacturer's instructions). Do not however dip your paw print piece as it will remove the antiqued effect.

How should I store my jewellery?
If you are not wearing your jewellery for a while. Simply keep it wrapped in some acid-free tissue.
Will my paw print piece scratch or dent?
Precious metal clay, because of its purity, is a relatively soft metal. If an item is worn every day or hung on a chain with lots of other items or on a key ring, it will gradually age.
